Charity translates as a practice of benevolent giving and caring, a virtue of kindness.

This way of being we encourage and support. Therefore, we at Byron Essence are proud supporters of Rainforest Rescue, a not-for-profit organisation that has been protecting and restoring rainforests in Australia, and internationally, since 1998. Their projects re-establish rainforests through planting, maintenance and restoration programs, as well as purchasing and protecting high-conservation-value rainforest and preserving its biodiversity.

Some of their projects include helping protect and restore the Daintree, one of the oldest rainforests in the world; the Big Scrub which is the last remaining subtropical rainforest of the Byron Bay region; the beautiful rainforest of Tasmania, the last remaining rainforests in Sri Lanka; the incredibly biodiverse rainforests of Sumatra and the Cloud forests of Equador, home to the endangered Jaguars.
